While we cannot provide an accurate cost for any specific work, as each car is unique and may require less or more work than another, we can provide an idea, a rough-order-of-magnitude (ROM) cost for a given service, based on our experience.
It must be noted that any classic car can be hiding a multitude of sins; rust is the bane of all classic car owners and other issues can be lurking, waiting to be found when stripping a car for paint, or hiding until the engine comes out. As such, the prices below assume no other works need doing, that the car is in generally good condition, apart from the service being requested and of course any official estimate from ourselves would only be provided once we have seen the car and discussed the work needed.
Regardless of the marque, repainting costs tend to be very similar, unless exotic colours, or extensive finishes are required, however, there are numerous options available, all of which are explained in more detail on our Respray page.

Most cars have similar costs for rebuilding their engine; while some require more time to remove or refit, some are more complicated and require more build time and of course parts prices differ from marque to marque, on average, the main tasks take the following hours to complete:
